Coldwell Banker Bain: Community Connections

We would like to recognize the generosity of our brokers and their dedication to enriching their communities.Coldwell Banker Bain firmly believes that we are the best because of the quality of our brokers.

Coldwell Banker Bain | Oregon City

Lead by our Principal Managing Broker in Oregon City, Penny Yaw held a community Recycling event in Oregon City, Oregon. The goal of this event was to lead by example and provide a service for the members of our community.  Penny Yaw said “I am thrilled with the results and will most definitely be holding this event again next year.  People are already asking me on social media to notify them when we do it again!” Penny Yaw

This event was a great success with over 100 cars in attendance with loads of electronics, paper shredding and eye glasses and cell phones for the Lions Club. After the event was finished, many people thanked us for putting the event on.  So many people asked us..."How long have you been here?  I didn't even know you were here."

Penny said she “Couldn't have done it without my husband, Nikki and Jorge and 3 volunteers from the Master Recycle Program with Clackamas County who were all a big part of the success. Sheila, Marilyn, Sophia and Bill also participated along with agents from other offices that came to recycle too!  Always nice to see familiar faces :)”

Coldwell Banker Bain | Puyallup

Our Puyallup branch hosted and collected donations to divided between the rescues (dogs) such as food, toys, and treats etc.  They also collected donations for baskets that were raffled off during their event and the week after event (all proceeds go to rescues).  The Puyallup branch recruited a couple vendors to donate partial proceeds to the participating animal rescues and a photographer to take pictures of all animals.  Along with the community effort, brokers from the Puyallup branch also baked homemade goodies to sell during event and had a pop up lemonade stand (all proceeds go to rescues).

During the planning of this event, the Puyallup branch had the opportunity to meet many people and business owners within the community.  To show appreciation for their efforts, Puyallup helped promote these local business (before after and during the event). Puyallup only used local small businesses and found an out pouring of willingness from the community trying to donate their time and energy. This continues even now, after our event is over.  The brokers and staff in Puyallup continue to promote their cause on their Facebook page "Somebody to love adoption event, Coldwell Banker Bain of Puyallup".
