Coldwell Banker Bain: Community Connections

We would like to recognize the generosity of our brokers and their dedication to enriching their communities. Coldwell Banker Bain firmly believes that we are the best because of the quality of our brokers.

Capitol Hill | Dog Adoption Event

Capitol Hill is a very dog friendly neighborhood, home to many different people that adore their furry friends. So we thought it a great idea to host a dog adoption event at our office. We have great foot traffic and a wonderful community full of big hearts wanting to help provide a home to dogs in need. The dog adoption event is in collaboration with local pet adoption agency, Ginger's Pet Rescue.

GPR has been finding homes for death row dogs for many years and is now also helping find homes for displaced dogs from the recent hurricanes. They are a pet rescue that is close to our hearts as it is a Community Partnership with an agent (me) in our office and our PMB (Barb Hindle) actually adopted her dog Poncho from them a few years back.

There will be about 20 dogs of various sizes looking for a good home. We hope to be matchmakers

Oregon City | Client Appreciation Night

The Oregon City Office of Coldwell Banker Bain & our Axia Home Loan affiliate held a Client Appreciation Night on October 13th, from 6-9PM. Our brokers invited their past and current clients, and the office invited some of our affiliates as well as some of our recruits. We served wine, cheese, and had a chocolate fondue fountain that was a big hit.Ed Wood of American Home Shield came with his lovely wife. We had approximately 30 past and present clients come and visit with us. It was a big hit, and we have been asked to hold the event twice a year: spring and fall.

Kent Station | Community Halloween

“Halloween at Kent Station” – Community Halloween trick-or-treating for children in the community Took place at Kent Station and each merchant within could participate – (there’s almost 60 total merchants/dining/services in Kent Station). Our branch contributed by participating in the annual Pumpkin Carving contest and our Brokers handed out candy to the trick-or-treaters from 4:30 – 7:00.
This is an annual event that benefits the community directly -  It allows children to trick or treat within the businesses at Kent Station which provides safety in a well-lit area and comfort in groups.  The kids started showing up a little after 4:00 p.m. full of excitement!  Bill Albright, Tony Gregg, Chris Devoe and Tracy Romano all volunteered to hand out the candy and had a great time! The kids were all excited to see “grown-ups” dressed as their favorite superhero! (Tracy Romano was Bat-woman) We ordered 6 large 5 lb. bags of mixed variety candy from Costco and believe it – we ran out of candy! Kent Station reported there were over 2000 trick-or-treaters that came through. It’s a big deal to the community as well as the businesses to be able to “give back”.
