Puyallup & Tacoma | Yes to Vets Program
Yes to Vets Program: The Home From Service program has inspired the Coldwell Banker Puyallup|Tacoma offices to increase awareness to veterans about career opportunities in real estate. The advantages that Coldwell Banker Bain offers to veterans building career in real estate is an effort to kick-start their business with support and care. Dale Shoemaker (Assistant PMB, Puyallup office) and Jaime Cerna (Broker|Veteran, Puyallup office) have attended the quarterly veteran career networking events at JBLM the last two quarters, most recently on April 18th, 2018. Veterans are delighted to hear first-hand about Jaime’s experience starting his real estate career with Coldwell Banker Bain’s Home From Service program. A real estate career is fantastic for veterans looking to transition into the workforce if they desire to operate a business model of their own, rather than work a job with a strict schedule and terms. A wonderful partnership also developed with Coldwell Banker Bain and the YesVets program. The YesVets program is a statewide campaign to hire veterans, supporting House Bill 2040, which recognizes employers who show their support to veteran employment by welcoming veterans into their workforce. Recently welcomed veterans, including Jaime Cerna, have demonstrated the advantages that Coldwell Banker Bain’s Home From Service program, education, and overall support have for veterans.
