Connecting to our communities!!We would like to recognize the generosity of our brokers and their dedication to enriching their communities. Coldwell Banker Bain firmly believes that we are the best because of the quality of our brokers and their connections to the communities.
Bainbridge Island | Boys & Girls Club
June has been a busy month of service to our treasured Island here on Bainbridge. Our Broker, Bill Barrow, who has been a Realtor since 1963 and has over 50 years of service with the Kiwanis Club recently joined the Bainbridge Island Kiwanis Club in donating gym mats to the Bainbridge Island Boys and Girls Club. His level of service to the community and to the Real Estate industry is unmatched. Our Marketing Coordinator Ashley Mathews was appointed to the Board of Directors of Treehouse for Kids which is a non-profit specializing in services to youth in Foster care. She also finished her successful Auction committee membership for the record-breaking 5th anniversary BIMA Bash to celebrate the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art which strives to make art accessible to everyone. Ashley spent one evening as part of the team who sold the most raffle tickets and the second evening donating to the museum. We love our Island!

Bellingham | Ski to Sea
Our "Ski to Sea" community event was a huge success. We both sponsored a CB Bain Ski to Sea team this year, and also had a booth on the main street of Fairhaven on Sunday near the race finish line. It was a great event. Bellingham branch brokers met clients and visited with the public all day, giving out cold water, popsicles, CB Bain branded tote bags and balloons. We had a great booth location and went through every single item we brought. Concerning the race, last year (our first year) we place 20th overall. This year we improved and placed 14th overall – out of 361 teams. It was a great effort on everyone’s part!
Kent Station | Feeding the Homeless
Coldwell Banker Bain Kent Station has joined forces with other vendors/companies in our community in hosting “Feeding the Homeless” every other month. Just a couple blocks from our office is a church that opens their doors to the public and helps feed up to 90 people in hopes of providing nutritious and warm dinners that will help the hungry. As a community-based office with intentions on reaching out as much as possible, the brokers in our office combine kitchens to help prep, cook, feed and clean up dinner for those who are without a home to eat from. Our planning of each dinner starts a month prior to our host date and consists of brainstorming the entree to include all ingredients, purchasing/cooking all the food, transportation to get it all there as well as help to serve and clean up afterward. This event is 100% broker-sponsored and has had much success! We will continue to participate in hosting the feed and we are always looking for more ways to help as well. Giving back to our community is very important to each of our brokers, and although our communities may vary where we call “home,” it’s no question that the community in which we work from is considered as our “neighbor.”
Lynnwood | Shredding Event
Coldwell Banker Bain's Lynnwood | Edmonds team held their first annual shredding event with over 6,000 lbs of shredded materials! The event was co-sponsored with Axia Home Loans, who provided donuts along with coffee. And while the event was free, they helped raise $300 for the Boys & Girls Club of Snohomish County!
