Coldwell Banker Bain | Seal: Community Connection

June COMMUNITY header

We would like to recognize the generosity of our brokers and their dedication to enriching their communities. Coldwell Banker Bain | Seal firmly believes that we are the best because of the quality of our brokers.

This month we recognize Karen Everett from our Bellingham branch and the brokers who joined her at the groundbreaking held for Skagit County veterans park. A group of REALTORS from the North Puget Sound Association of REALTORS volunteered at the ground-breaking of what will become a veterans park in Sedro-woolley.  We (REALTORS) are also raising money for a bench in the park in honor of a fellow REALTOR who fell to his death trying to rescue someone from a raging river near there (not sure if it was the Skagit) about a year ago.  His name was J.B. Bryson, his story ran through all over the local Seattle news at the time.  J.B. was a Veteran and a super-sweet guy.

Last month Coldwell Banker Bain’s Bellevue office teamed up with 1 Green Planet to host a phenomenally successful electronics recycling event in April. Close to 150 cars came through the event, dropping off hundreds of appliances and small electronics which successfully avoided the landfill. Recyclers included Coldwell Banker Bain clients, friends, brokers and Eastside residents.

For more information about hosting your own recycling event, visit 1greenplanet.org.
