Coldwell Banker Bain | Seal: Community Connection

Community Connection Header

We would like to thank all of our brokers and highlight their dedication to enriching their communities. Coldwell Banker Bain | Seal firmly believes that we are the best because of the quality of our brokers and the effort they put forth to giving back to others.

Coldwell Banker Bain in Puyallup:

For the last 18 months, Coldwell Banker Bain Puyallup has been supporting the St. Francis House Feeding site in downtown Puyallup. St Francis House is primarily a resource for people in transitional situations and/or homeless. They run a clothing bank, furniture bank, emergency food bank and provide emergency assistance for utilities and resources for new households.

They also provide an evening feeding center 5 nights a week at the National Guard Armory in downtown Puyallup which is where we fit in. We provide food and beverages as well as serve evening meals for 60 to 75 men, women and children every other month. In March we served a traditional St Patrick’s dinner of Corned Beef, Potatoes & Cabbage, salad and rolls to 64 people. We usually have 10 – 14 Brokers, family and friends to set up, serve and clean up along with other’s who contribute food or cash.

This has been a very rewarding endeavor because we immediately see the faces of the lives we impact. Most of the clients we serve are very respectful, thankful, and grateful for our efforts. It has truly touched the hearts of many of us to help understand the needs of our community and be able help others in a significant way.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP MARCH

We would like to thank all of our brokers and highlight their dedication to enriching their communities. Coldwell Banker Bain | Seal firmly believes that we are the best because of the quality of our brokers and the effort they put forth to giving back to others.

On March 20th a group of 15-20 agents and their family members from our Vancouver East and West branches will be on site to join Habitat Humanity’s “A Brush with Kindness” program to frame a new house. This event will be at the new 10 lot subdivision on Middle Way in Vancouver.

The “A Brush with Kindness” program partners with low-income homeowners in need of exterior home repair. Refurbishing homes has an added bonus of preserving home values in Clark County by revitalizing neighborhoods that have fallen into disrepair. “We enjoy giving back to the community by raking leaves, cleaning gutters and doing minor home repairs…etc.” says John Rose the Assistant Principal Managing Broker for Vancouver East and West Branches.

The two Vancouver offices typically do a few events every year including Build Service Days and Clean Up Days with “A Brush with Kindness” program. They also recently helped to raise $4000 for the program after tools were stolen from one of the job sites.
